When Salman Khan was riding a taxi in college without paying for it

MUMBAI, April 16 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has recalled his college days when he had no money to pay a taxi driver and left him in the middle of the road without paying the fare. However, several years later when he meets him again, he pays the entire amount with interest.

Salman said, “Usually we used to travel by train to college, but sometimes, we felt like traveling comfortably, so one day I decided to take a taxi to my college. But the fun part was, I didn’t have money to pay for the taxi, so I parked The driver is a lane away from my college and I told him I would get money from a place and give it to him, but he never came back.”

The 57-year-old actor has performed in several songs, from “Maine Pyar Kiya” to “Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!” and ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’, ‘Karan Arjun’ and ‘Biwi No 1’ into action. Films including “Wanted”, “Dabangg”, “Ready”, “Bodyguard”, “Ek Tha Tiger”, “Dabangg 2”, “Kick” and others.

He is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Salman appeared alongside his film crew including Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Palak Tiwari, Jassi Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Vinali Bhatnagar and Sukhbir to promote their film.

During a conversation with the host, Salman talked about his younger days and how he used to travel by train because he couldn’t afford a taxi every day. However, one time for the sake of convenience, he decides to travel by taxi to his college but escapes without paying the fare. Years later, when he started working in the industry, he met the same chauffeur, and this time he paid him all the money with interest.

He added, “Then I started working as a model and started making good money, so I decided again to take a taxi to go home. I stopped one of the taxis and sat inside, but the whole trip the taxi driver kept saying he had seen me somewhere before. As soon as I got home I told him I would have the money and he came back as soon as he knew me. We both laughed at the situation, but I made sure to pay the last amount owed with interest.”
