Tragic accident in Wereszyn in the Lublin Voivodeship. Two women and a 6-year-old child are dead. According to the fire brigade, the bus carrying ten Ukrainian citizens drove into the opposite lane and hit a tree. Seven people were transported to hospital.
Two women and a 6-year-old child died in a bus accident that occurred in the town of Wereszyn in the Mircze commune (Lubelskie). Citizens of Ukraine were traveling in the vehicle.
The officer on duty at the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Lublin, Captain Jakub Kurczuk, informed about the tragic accident. The incident occurred before 5 a.m. on provincial road No. 844 in the town of Wereszyn in the Hrubieszów district.
Wereszyn. Three victims, seven people in hospital
– There were ten people traveling in the bus, all of them were citizens of Ukraine. The bus drove into the opposite lane, then into a ditch and hit a tree. Two people died on the spot, the third was resuscitated, but unfortunately also died. The remaining seven people were transported to the hospital, said Captain Korczuk.
He said that the victims included two women and a 6-year-old child.
The road at the site of the incident is completely blocked.
