Thus, the head of PSL confirmed the opposition’s plans, revealed in the so-called coalition agreement. – There are the first decisions that clearly state that draft citizenship laws should come first, and the in vitro act is a demonstration of the fulfillment of the dreams of Polish women and men. All opposition parties that will soon form the government said directly – we want to give happiness to Poles and this joy is in vitro, there is a chance to have children. So I would like this bill to be the first – said the head of the Left club, Krzysztof Gawkowski, in an interview with PAP.

During the last term of office of the Sejm, a citizens’ bill on in vitro reimbursement was submitted. According to the draft amendment to the Act on health care services financed from public funds, the Minister of Health would develop, implement, implement and finance a health policy program for infertility treatment, covering medical procedures of assisted reproduction, including in vitro fertilization. The minister would also submit to the Sejm a report on the implementation of this program. The project specifies the minimum amount of financial resources from the state budget to be allocated annually to the implementation of the policy program in question – not less than PLN 500 million.
Let us recall: as a result elections parliamentary elections on October 15, three groups – Civic Coalition, Third Way and Left – won a total of 248 seats in the Sejm, i.e. a majority allowing for a vote of confidence in the government formed by these groups. The groups signed an agreement to create such a coalition government, headed by KO leader Donald Tusk.
On Tuesday, November 21, MPs will finish the inaugural session of the Sejm of the 10th term.
