HYDERABAD, April 18 (IANS) A man strangled his mother to death and buried her because he felt she was a burden.
The horrific incident occurred in Kamaridi district of Telangana. According to the police, one of them killed Sheena Balaya, his mother, E.
A few days ago, Playa told his neighbors in Sadashiv Nagar that his mother had gone missing. He claimed that the room she was staying in was found to be locked from the outside.
However, a local public representative questioned his account. Peraya, a member of the Mandal Parishad Provincial Committee (MPTC), has filed a complaint with the police. Police investigations revealed shocking details.
Playa confessed to killing his mother. He told the police that she had become a burden to him and that he was unable to take care of her. On the night of April 13th, he strangled his mother to death with a piece of cloth. Then he carried her body to a deserted place behind a rice mill and buried her after digging a hole.
Police, in the presence of local civil officials, exhumed the body on Monday and sent it for an autopsy. “We have arrested the accused and investigations are ongoing,” said Circuit Inspector Raman.
