The match against the Czech Republic was only the third for Michał Probierz as the coach of the Polish national team. However, the former Cracovia coach did not save the Euro qualifiers and Poland will play in the play-offs this spring. On Sunday evening, the coach addressed a few words to the fans. He thanked everyone for every kind word and appealed for further support for the White and Reds.
The Polish national team suffered hopeless qualifying for Euro 2024. It all started with hopeless results under the leadership of Fernando Santos. In turn, in the October matches, as well as in the last match against the Czech Republic, the team was led by Michał Probierz. The coach will also prepare our team for the spring play-offs.

After Friday’s match against the Czech Republic, there was some media silence. There was no official press conference of the team on Saturday or Sunday. Only on Sunday evening did Michał Probierz speak out by publishing an entry on the X platform. And he started it with thanks. “Thank you for the many kind words of support and faith that we will create a team capable of playing for promotion to the European Championship,” we read.
The coach also made an appeal to the fans. “I believe that there will be many more beautiful moments with this national team. I invite you to Latvia and the beginning of the preparation stage for the promotion matches,” he added.
Now the team is preparing for the play-offs, and their first stage will be a friendly match against Latvia. Unfortunately, fans will not appear in large numbers at the National Stadium. There will be approximately 35-40 thousand fans in the stands, so it will be far from full. This is certainly influenced by the results of our national team, but also by ticket prices.
