The Wieczyczna player revealed what kind of coach Peszko is
– Sławek Peszko is a very positive person, he is also like that in the locker room, because he simply has not forgotten that he shared it with many of these players half a year ago – says Rafał Pietrzak, who joined Wieczysta Kraków in the summer. In an interview with “Przegląd Sportowy”, the former Lechia defender also reveals the behind-the-scenes of his daily work with Peszka.
Wiewiesta Kraków quite unexpectedly broke up with coach Maciej Musiał at the beginning of the season. He was succeeded by Sławomir Peszko, who temporarily took over as the first coach. The beginning of the work of the former Polish representative is promising – he suffered only one defeat in eight matches (0: 4 against Piast Gliwice in the Polish Cup), and his team is the leader of the third league.

What is it like to work with Sławomir Peszka? This question was answered by the defender of Wieczyńska Kraków, Rafał Pietrzak, in an interview with “Przegląd Sportowy”. – A lot of small games, gym, tightening the screws, but I think that in the coming days there will be more tactics and maybe a little less intensity – revealed Pietrzak.

He always has good contact with the team and is able to bring it together. You can always talk to him, but as a coach he takes responsibility for the results, and lately it has been going in the right direction, he said.
The former Lechia footballer does not hide the fact that Wiewiecta focuses on balance between private and professional life. – There is time for work and time for pleasure. As for the coach, yes, we have a team that is aware enough that everyone is aware of our goal. The plan is clear, we have to finish this season with promotion to the second league. Personally, I didn’t come here to play in the third or even second league for the entire contract, he concluded.
Sławomir Peszko ended his football career in July 2023. In the past, he played, among others, in Lechia Gdańsk, Wisła Kraków, Lechia Gdańsk, Koeln, Lech Poznań, Wolverhampton and Wisła Płock. He played for the Polish national team in 44 matches and scored two goals.
Wiewiesta Kraków is currently the leader of the third league of group IV and is probably heading for promotion to the second league. After 16 rounds, the team led by Sławomir Peszko has 35 points. Avia Świdnik takes second place with 32 points, and KSZO Ostrowiec is third with 31 points.
Wieczysta will play another match on Saturday, November 18. Their rival will be Star Starachowice, which is in sixth place.
