“The Other Half” – Canal+ film on TVN

Young doctor Magdalena Biernat (played by Marianna Zydek) accidentally meets the mysterious and handsome journalist Mateusz Ostrowski (Jacek Knap). Enchanted by the man she has just met, she does not know that bad fate hangs over the emerging feeling from the very beginning. Things get complicated very quickly – when it turns out that Magdalena is the daughter of the coach of the Polish national team, Zbigniew Biernat (Cezary Pazura), with whom Mateusz has been in a sharp conflict for a long time. The situation is not made easier by the fact that the girl is also the object of the desires of a football star – Jarosław Kot (Maciej Musiał) – who will stop at nothing to win the heart of his beloved. Following her friend’s advice, the footballer implements the spectacular “3 x Z” plan – and in order to “Surprise, Charm and Impress” Magdalena, he uses unlimited financial resources and the Uhlan’s imagination. Mateusz will also want to please the girl, but in a completely different style. Does he have any chance in the game of love, where one unexpected move can put him in an offside position?
