The accused murderer was shot dead in police custody in a court in Rajasthan

JAIPUR, JULY 12 (IANS) Gangster Kuldeep Jagina, accused of killing local BJP leader Kripal Singh, was shot dead in Bharatpur on Wednesday while being taken to court by police.
The miscreants threw chili powder at the policemen and shot Gagina near Amli Square.
On September 4 last year, Jagina allegedly killed local BJP leader Kripal Singh with the help of four others. Singh was shot at around 11 pm when he was walking home in his car.
The Bharatiya Janata Party criticized the killing in police custody and accused the government led by Ashok Jillot of sponsoring the criminals.
“Crime thrives in the state under political auspices. The role of the police in the Bharatpur killing is also suspect,” said BJP President CP Joshi.
Opposition leader Rajendra Rathore said there is no control over the police due to the absence of a full-time home minister in the state.
Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson and MP Rajivardhan Singh Rathore said that the killing of the main suspect in the killing of Kripal Singh in police custody raises questions about the intention of the Jahlot government.
“At whose command, and to whose rescue are such steps being taken? The modus operandi of the police in this case is quite suspicious and questionable,” Rathore said.
