NEW DELHI, July 11 (IANS) Actress Preity Zinta shared a glimpse of the “worldly” ceremony of her young twins Jai and Gia in Los Angeles, and described her connection to Hinduism.
Taking to her Instagram, Preeti shared a photo of her little bundle of joy, where the two babies can be seen with their shaved heads playing with their toys, with their backs towards the camera.
The caption reads, “So this weekend the ‘Mundan Ceremony’ finally happened. For Hindus, the first shaving of children’s hair is a gesture of cleansing from the memory of their previous births and liberation from the past. On February 29, 2016, Preity Zinta married Jane Goodnow in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. In 2021, they become parents to twins, a boy and a girl, through surrogacy.
