StartUp’s mission is to highlight grassroots innovators in India
NEW DELHI, July 12 (IANS) Prime Video on Wednesday announced a series showcasing India’s grassroots innovators as they supercharge their business growth, titled “Mission Start Ab”.
The broadcaster joined with the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA) to create the Start Up Mission.
The seven-episode series will feature entrepreneurs, who are focused on scaling innovations designed for India with the potential to impact social and economic change, going through a series of challenges in the quest to scale their businesses and secure financing for their ventures.
The series also brings together three celebrity investors who will be on the hunt for India’s next unicorn, by putting these 10 early-stage founders through a series of intense trainings and simulations that will test their skills in entrepreneurship, management, communication and crisis management.
Elaborating on the same, Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor said, “This captivating series will serve as a powerful platform, showcasing the inspiring stories of those driving social change through innovation. I am optimistic that it will provide tremendous educational opportunities for innovators at the grassroots level in India.” providing valuable insights into sustainable startup practices and attracting the right investors.”

He added, “By tracing the journey of some of the country’s most creative minds, our aim with Mission Start Ab is to not only highlight the grassroots innovations happening across the country, but also help fuel the dreams of many young Indians.”

We believe that this offering will inspire many individuals,” said Chetan Krishnaswamy, Vice President – Public Policy, Amazon India. To choose the path of entrepreneurship and contribute to driving the government’s ‘Start-up India’ initiative.
Alia Bhatt, was also present at the event to talk about her journey as an entrepreneur.
The actress said; “Although there are many great ideas and ambitious young founders around, it takes a special kind of determination to turn that idea into reality, build the right team, find the right mentors, raise funding, and create something out of nothing.”

This upcoming reality show is currently in production and is set to premiere soon on Prime Video.
