Mateusz Rębecki (19-1) won his next victory in the largest MMA federation in the world during the UFC 295 gala. After the fight, the Pole commented on the possibility of organizing the gala in Poland, as well as his next opponent.
On the night from Saturday to Sunday, Rębecki triumphed for the third time since joining the UFC. During the gala at Madison Square Garden, the fighter born in Gryfice easily submitted Roosevelt Roberts in the first round (12-4). After the fight, Joe Rogan interviewed the Pole.

Rębecki admitted that the victory at UFC 295 was very important to him. The 31-year-old, who previously played in the FEN federation, asked Dana White to organize a similar gala in Poland.
– I am very happy. I won in the most famous arena in the world. It was my greatest victory. Thank you to all the fans who came to this event. Dana White, organize such a gala in Poland! We want to fight for you, said Rębecki.
The Pole also said who he wants to face in his next lightweight fight.
– I want to fight someone from the top 15 rankings – he said.
There were also plenty of emotions during the remaining matches of the gala at Madison Square Garden. Alex Pereira (9-2), who defeated Jiri Prochazka (29-4-1), tipped the scales in his favor during the fight for the light heavyweight championship belt.
