Marvel star Kathryn Hahn on fame: I still feel like a normal person

LOS ANGELES, April 9 (IANS) WandaVision actress Kathryn Hahn says she never planned to intentionally keep her children out of the spotlight, but that’s because she never felt like her life had changed since she became famous.
Speaking to Parade magazine, she explained, “I don’t consciously think about[living a normal life]but I think it has to be because I feel like I’m still the same person (I always was). I always want to feel the same. When I’m working on Anything, I want to feel like we’re all in it together. I’m excited to be able to just get the opportunity.”
“But then, like everyone else, I still feel like I could be a hair salon receptionist at any moment. I think everyone feels the same way.”
The 49-year-old actress met fellow actor Ethan, 50, while studying at Northwestern University, and both had to get regular jobs between acting gigs.
The couple — who tied the knot in 2002 — spent their time living in a tiny one-bedroom apartment in New York, and though they battled over a lack of space, the Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery actress looks back. Period “very fondly.”
When asked if he was looking for jobs to pay the bills, too, she said, “Yeah, he worked at Starbucks, and I worked as a receptionist at a hair salon right past Northwestern. We lived in a one-room studio where you open the door and hit the bathroom.”
“We were fighting. Basically, I kept saying, ‘When you shave, you have to rinse the hair off before I try to clean the dishes.’ We only had one sink. It was this kind of apartment. I look back on those days, though, very fondly. Those were New York of my dreams.
