Madonna’s children plan a serious intervention after she is rushed into the hospital

LOS ANGELES, July 12 (IANS) Pop icon Madonna has reportedly been “one step away from disaster” for a while, as her children prepare to “intervention” after a frightening rush to the hospital left her needing intensive care.
Last month, it was revealed that the 64-year-old “Material Girl” singer had a frightening rush to the hospital after developing a bacterial infection that put her in the intensive care unit. Reports even said Madonna was “down the tube,” Mirror.co.uk reports.
But now it has emerged that the singer’s children, including daughter Lourdes, 26, have made an intervention for their famous mom for the way she reportedly “punishes herself” and is said to have “crossed the line” with her surgery.
In addition to her oldest child, Lourdes, Madonna is also a mom to Rocco, 22; David, 17; Mercy, 17; and 10-year-old twins Stella and Esther.
According to Mirror.co.uk, all of her children are reported to be worried about their mother who is “acting like she’s in her twenties”.
Madonna’s doting children were so alarmed when they found out that their mother had been suffering from a “low-grade fever for a month” and refused to see a doctor, prior to her admission to the intensive care unit. Heat Magazine reports that her children are now trying to “talk some sense” to their mom while urging her to “speed up” herself.
A source told the publication: “Lourdes and Rocco have said for years that Madonna is one step away from disaster in the way she punishes herself, goes overboard and generally tries to act like she’s in her twenties.”
The source went on to say that Madge’s younger kids are telling their moms that she “needs to change things.”
“It’s a serious tackle and they’re determined to see it all the way,” the source added.
