Luka Modric will probably end his long adventure with Real Madrid, leaving not only the club but also Europe. As reported by Catalan “Sport”, the Croatian will move to Saudi Arabia.
The midfielder has been with Real Madrid since 2012. For years, he was a leading figure in this team, playing over 500 matches.
But time catches up with him. Luka Modric is already 38 years old, and the coach relies on younger players, such as Jude Bellingham. The Croatian played in the first team only five times this season.
– There was interest this summer. The player has several offers, from one club from the capital of Saudi Arabia and other clubs. Modrić is currently thinking about Real Madrid, but the idea of moving to the Saudi Pro League is possible if the offer is suitable – said the player’s manager a few months ago.
As reported by “Sport”, the transfer is now a done deal, and the player himself is convinced of it and is aware that things can only get harder:
