Kaczmarek in beautiful words to Leon. “You are an outstanding volleyball player and an even better person”
In Saturday’s final, Wilfredo Leon scored the most points for Poland, ending many high-ball attacks. He finished the match with 13 points, and one point less was scored by Norbert Huber, who was also outstanding that evening.
However, it was Leon who was later elected MVP of the championship, although many observers had a different opinion on this matter, believing that this award was more deserved by Aleksander Śliwka.
Łukasz Kaczmarek, the attacker of the Polish national team, also commented on the award in some way, but he, in turn, congratulated Wilfredo Leon on the statuette in beautiful words.
– I am incredibly happy that this statuette was in your hands. You deserved this distinction like no one else, after the journey you went through last year in the national team. After how many sacrifices it took to get back to full health. After how passionately you fought in this final despite the pain – Kaczmarek wrote on his Instagram.
– It’s a great pleasure to share the pitch with you. You are an outstanding volleyball player (the best in the history of it sports), and an even better person you can always count on. Thank you – added the 29-year-old attacker.
