Gurugram, April 18 (IANS) An international criminal involved in thirty cases including murder, robbery, deception, attempted murder and extortion, was detained from Bachgaon Chowk on the Delhi-Jaipur highway, police said on Tuesday.
Police said a Swift Dzire was recovered from the two suspects.
He was earlier arrested in a murder case in Gurugram and recently got out on bail. Price said the accused was again active in carrying out a serious crime.
Criminal cases have also been registered against the accused in Gurugram, Dharuhera (Rewari) and Tijara (Rajasthan).
The arrested accused has been identified as 30-year-old Mono.
According to the police, they had received a complaint from a taxi driver on 15 April that the three unidentified accused stole his car near Kundli Manesar Palwal Highway (KMP).
“During the interrogation, the accused confessed his involvement in the crime and revealed that he had stolen the car along with his partner Amit alias Mota and Ajit. Amit and Ajit were also arrested. Mono was a dreaded criminal. Thirty cases of serious nature were also registered against him,” said Lalit Kumar, who is in charge of the branch.
