Rafał Piech has been in charge of Siemianowice Śląskie for two terms. During this time, he entrusted the city to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and repeatedly stated that the Virgin Mary “received the keys to the city, is its manager and runs it.” Later, he additionally entrusted the city to Divine Mercy.
However, Siemianowice Śląskie turned out to be too small for Rafał Piech. In 2021, he founded the right-wing party Polska Jest Jedno (although Piech himself also develops the abbreviation PJJ as Lord Jest Jesus). Initially, the party was mainly concerned with criticizing vaccinations against Covid-19 and alleged sanitary segregation. Today’s program includes: basing the Polish energy industry on coal, which is said to last 300 years (!), or building new mines. There is also talk about support for entrepreneurs and farmers.
– The fourth economic partition of Poland has been going on since 1989. All governments have destroyed and are destroying our economy. Mining and metallurgy were destroyed and Polish business was not allowed to develop. This is the last moment to prevent Poland from becoming a colony, says Rafał Piech.
That is why PJJ is running in the parliamentary elections, which the party chairman announced already in May 2023, in an interview for ŚLĄZAGA. – Poland Jest One is the new true right. PJJ brings a new quality to politics. This arouses fear among current political leaders and their entourage. They want to maintain the current level in the polls at all costs – said the chairman of PJJ then.
Rafał Piech under the Sleeping Knight will fight for a new Poland
According to information on the website of the National Electoral Commission, the Polska Jest One Electoral Committee will present its lists in 39 of the 41 Sejm constituencies. It will also have 4 candidates for the Senate. He will fight for a seat in the Sejm, among others: Rafał Piech. However, we will not find him on the list in district no. 31, which covers his hometown of Siemianowice Śląskieas well as Chorzów, Katowice, Mysłowice, Piekary Śląskie, Ruda Śląska, Świętochłowice, Tychy and the Bieruń-Lędziński poviat. The chairman of PJJ will run for the Sejm from the Tatra Mountains, in constituency no. 14 covering the city of Nowy Sącz and the counties of Gorlice, Limanowski, Nowy Sącz, Nowy Targ and Tatra.
– We agreed that wherever our first list is registered, the party chairman will run. In addition, we collected a record number of signatures of support there and the leaders from this district asked me to run there – says Rafał Piech.
When chairing PJJ, he also refers to Wojciech Korfanty, who also came from Siemianowice Śląskie and – as Rafał Piech claims – loved Zakopane. He added that Zakopane is one of the places where Polish independence was born and that is why he wants to fight for a new Poland under the Sleeping Knight.
Rafał Piech assumes that the Polska Jest Jedno party will win between 9 and 13 percent in the Sejm elections. votes. In the CBOS poll, the results of which were published on September 15, support for PJJ was 1%. In turn, in the primary elections in Wieruszów, called “Poland in a nutshell”, which were organized on September 17, PJJ obtained 4.08 percent.
