BCCI Jai Shah Seki will not visit Pakistan at the 2023 Asian Cup

NEW DELHI, July 12 (IANS) Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary Jai Shah on Wednesday denied reports that he will visit Pakistan for the 2023 Asian Cup.
I did not agree to anything. This is just an obvious misunderstanding. It may have been done intentionally or maliciously. “I will not be making any visits,” Jai Shah was quoted as saying by News18 CricketNext.
Earlier on Tuesday, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary Shah met with Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Zaka Ashraf on the sidelines of the ongoing ICC meeting in Durban where the two discussed the Asian Cup and the Over-50 World Cup.
It was reported in the media that Shah accepted Ashraf’s invitation to visit the neighboring country for the Asian Cup matches.
However, the IPL president and BCCI’s ICC representative, Arun Dhumal, denied such reports. He said, “Whatever the reports are, they are completely false.”
Meanwhile, the ‘mixed arrangement’ for the Asian Cup will continue, with Pakistan hosting four matches while Sri Lanka will host nine matches including all knockout matches and the final.
