3 arrested in the murder case of B’luru Tech CEO, MD
BENGALURU, July 12 (IANS) Karnataka State Police said on Wednesday that three people have been arrested in connection with the double murder case of a managing director and CEO of a Bengaluru-based technology company.
The victims — MD Vanendra Subramanya and CEO Venu Kumar of Aeronics Media Private — were bludgeoned to death in the city’s Amrutali area in broad daylight on Tuesday.
The victims were attacked with a sword and died instantly.
Police said the defendants, J. Felix, Vinay Reddy and Shifu, arrested near the town of Konigal in the Tumakoro district.
The accused told the police that Fanendra always insulted Felix and fired him from his job.
Felix raised a grudge against him and decided to kill Vanendra, after which the other two accused joined him for the crime.
According to the police, the accused did not intend to kill Venu Kumar, but when he came to rescue Vanendra. He was also hacked to death.
Five teams are formed to arrest the trio.
